The Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT, Mumbai) does not offer lateral entry. You cannot get direct admission in second year in Institute of Chemical Technology Mumbai. Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate programmes need to appear and qualify MHT CET/JEE Main. 70% seats are offered based on MHT CET scores and 30% seats are offered based on the scores of JEE Main. You have to give the entrance exam and study from first year it self you cannot get admission in second year.

see bachelors courses is available on chemical engineering and technology, you may do b.tech or b.sc course in chemical engineering and technology. now the syllabus of chemical engineering includes basic electrical and electronics engineering, materials science, engineering mathematics, mechanical design and combustion Technic of power plants, PROCESS CALCULATIONS AND THERMODYNAMICS, instrumentation and process control etc.

KIIT is one of the best engineering colleges but if you wish to take the chemical branch or if you like then go for it but if you are alloted this branch then definitely do not go for it as there is less packages for chemical branch.

Institute of Chemical Technology Mumbai provides admission to two UG programs; B Tech and B Pharm. Here is the eligibility criteria for all students:
Candidates are selected for admission to B Tech based on MHT CET score or JEE main score. It is followed by Counselling.
Candidates are selected for admission to B Pharm based on MHT CET score. Counselling is also conducted for the candidates by DTE, Maharashtra.
