my gate score is 9in XE group i want admission in mtech in Maharashtra so is it possible to get a admission in institute of chemical technology mumbai? or which college is best in placement of food technology students in mtech

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 10th Apr, 2020
Hello , GATE cutoff for XE category is 26.0 for general category. You have not qualified the entrance exam. You have appear it again in coming years so that you get a qualifying score which will be accepted by different MTech providing colleges.
You can appear in 2021. Meanwhile practice more and prepare well. Make a plan and work on that. There are many resources and free materials available. Utilize them so that you can understand concepts and learn to solve questions accurately in limited time.
To get into top colleges like IIT you have to score above 600-700. For government college, a score above 500 will make you eligible.
Hope it helps!

Hello siva,
Mumbai has one of the prestigious institutes . set up bythe Department of Chemical Technology in the year 1933. The Institute is providing the best facilities. To get into this college you have to secure a minimum of 2000 rank . Last year the closing rank is 2673 . So atleast try rank below 2000 to grab seat in food technology
