There will not be combined result. Your original board result is separate and improvement result is separate. You have choose any one(with better percentage) to apply for colleges for higher studies.

If you are passed class 12th but failed in only one subject (Chemistry) then you can go for the compartment Exam. You can stay tuned with CBSE official webiste to get updated information regarding the compartment application form.
