About merit scholarship given, will they consider practical marks of physics and chemistry or not?

Chinmay Joshi 13th May, 2018

Hello,

Yes surely they will consider practical marks of Physics and Chemistry because the cut off for the scholarship considers your score in PCM as a whole and there is no distinction between theory and practical marks.

Hope this finds you well!

All the best!

Hello divina

Yes you can get admission in IISERs  with this rank. Every IISER has a different minimum rank cutoff every year depending on the number of applicants for getting an interview call letter. It also depends on your subject. For chemistry in 2016, iiser pune called till rank 620.

abhishek gade 1st Apr, 2018
If you like

1) developments due to chemical engineering and using basics knowledge to innovate such
Go for Btech and Mtech in chemical engineering

2) research related areas
Go to bsc and msc

Both paths are equally good if you have good basic knowledge and can retain more information.

sir i got 446 rank in iit jam chemistry 2018 under general category. Is their any chance to get iit? Plz reply

Namita Kumari 1st Apr, 2018

Hello Divine Xavier,

Congratulations!

It is very difficult to get IITs for your Masters in Chemistry because Previous year lowest cutoff was 405 for IIT Jodhpur. Other IIT's cutoff was higher than this. So it is difficult to get IIT. You can get Top NITs.

Good Luck.
