in the chapter biomolecules (chemistry class 12), ncert, page no. 417, sucrose forms glycosidic linkage with alpha-c1 of glucuse and beta-c2 of fructose. but the numbering of the carbon atoms of beta fructose is different from the numbering on tge previous page. is that possible??

No, it is not possible. The glycosidic linkage formed is between two -OH groups, each of glucose and fructose. The numbering given is the same. The orientation of the molecule in the book is printed in such a way so that the reader can understand the glycosidic linkage

As per the aggregate calculated for PCB combination you are eligible for NEET because to appear in NEET one should have PCB as compulsory subject group with English in class 12th and should have passed with minimum 40% aggregate marks in PCB if you belongs to SC category
