See, Board marks will not affect your rank but yes it is one of the basic eligibility criteria to apply for the exam

Firstly divide your study time ( excluding your sleep time and your other routine) into 2 parts. Half of time give to main subject maths or biology.

Other half to Physics and Chemistry. Revise minimum 3-4 chapters of chemistry daily. Give minimum 2 hrs to solve  chemistry MCQs

See, for admission in Biotechnology whether its lesser known or renowned university you will have to appear in their entrance exams because almost every university conducted entrance for biotechnology course and if there is any which is not conducting,its not worth joining.
As for B.Sc in chemistry you don't
