For admission in the course of MSc Chemistry through IIT JAM the eligibility criteria laid down for admission, requires you to study Chemistry for three years/six semesters in your Bachelors degree amd also study Mathematics as a subject in Class 12th. Hence you need to have studied Chemistry

Delhi University colleges have higher cutoffs, mostly above 90%. Sorry, you will not be able to get any college that comes under Delhi University as you have scored only 71.5%.

I would suggest you to look for other colleges or entrance examination.

If you have Chemistry as Essential subjects in bachelor’s degree for three years/six semesters or

Any one of Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics for two years/four semesters, and any one of the other four subjects for at least one year/two semesters or

well it totally depends on your choice of subjects and the willingness to learn.

but if you have done bsc in chemistry, it is advisable to  choose  msc in chemistry only because in this way your base is also strong and you have further options ahead too.
