It is tough to get seat in the CHITKARA UNIVERSITY in the beginning. If seats remain vacant then by the end of counselling process you may get a seat. The cutoff stays high in PUNJAB as compared to the one in HIMACHAL PRADESH.

For BE, the cutoff is 60% in 10th and +2 and counselling is divided based on our JEE ranks. But the university has a good number of seats in BE CSE, so you can get admission easily, there is no specific cut of jee rank

Second you must have taken jee main exam that year
Later branch is alloted on the jee main score, this year cse in Punjab was available at 75/360 in jee main.
