It depends on you, which campus you wish to opt for, but the Chitkara Rajpura seats fill in fast as compared to Baddi campus, there is no difference in placements of the two, as the placements are held commonly for both the campuses

You should apply for it. Its one of the top private engineering institute in India.  It has very good NIRF Ranking every year even better than many NITS and IITs. 

But it's depends on your choice and affordbility.

Chandigarh University has once again demonstrated its leadership in terms of student placements and set new placement records. The institute is holding its placement drive for the class of 2022, and more than 900 recruiters have made over 9500 offers, a 29 percent increase from the previous year. Even though the number of recruiters grew by 20%, the highest salary offered at the Chandigarh University Placements in 2022 was INR 1.7 CPA. Nearly 400 Fortune-500 firms, including Microsoft, Google, Amazon, IBM, Arcesium, Adobe, Deloitte, Morgan Stanley, Qualcomm, Philips, Goldman Sachs, Toshiba, and Red Hat, recruit from Chandigarh University. In addition, Cognizant, Wipro, and Accenture, three of the leading IT services multinational corporations, have made the most job offers at Chandigarh University than any other institution in North India. 757 multinational corporations made a total of 7,412 placement offers during the last placement drive of 2021. For Engineering students, the highest CTC was INR 36 LPA, for Management students it was INR 28 LPA, for Hotel Management students it was INR 18 LPA, and for Pharma Science students it was INR 4.38 LPA.
