The largest share of Chitkara University alumni is placed in the Engineering sector which is around 28% followed by 11% of the IT sector and 9% of Business Development sector. The alumni are placed in top companies including Accenture, Wipro, WNS, Amazon and EY, and more. 

As per the NIRF report, out of 101 students 69 students got placement during Chitkara University placements in 2021. Students got placement in well-known companies such as, Deloitte,  Amazon, Infosys, GSK plc, KPMG, Parexel, Microsoft, Samsung etc. During Chitkara University B.Arch 2021 placements, the median package offered was INR 5 LPA. 

As per the NIRF report 2022, the median package offered was INR 9.15 LPA during Chitkara University MBA placements in 2021. However, in 2020, INR 8 LPA was offered to MBA students during placement. The University got 100% placement rate in MBA during placement in 2021. The students got placement in top companies like Google, The Times of India, Deloitte, Amazon, Infosys, Samsung etc.

As per the Chitkara University UG placement data 2021, a total of 338 students got placed out of 389 eligible students.

Yes, the Chitkara University provides reservation under some special conditions. The University has reserved 25% of the seats for bonafide candidates of Himachal Pradesh in Chitkara University Himachal Pradesh. 15% seats are reserved for the candidates of Punjab Domicile in Chitkara University, Punjab. Moreover, at the time of allocation of seats, few seats are reserved for categories such as SC/ ST/ OBC/ Physically Handicapped/Others as per policy of the State Government.

The Chitkara University offer admissions on the basis of merit and entrance score. For B.E. programs the seats will be allotted on the basis of merit ranks of the student in the JEE Mains exam. The eligibility criteria for admission to any one of the programs in Engineering is a minimum aggregate of 60% or secures 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths in class XII.
