When will chse board exam be held in 2021

Anurag Khanna 10th Dec, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

See till now The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha has not released the time table or schedule for Board exams of session 2020-21 so any exact date cannot be predicted. However in this session too a slight delay will be observed in conducting Board exams due to the delay in starting the session because of global pandemic named COVID-19.

As of the latest news on board exams and other competitive exams our Hon'ble education minister Mr. Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank will be live today on his different social media accounts as a part of the campaign which seeks opinions from different students, teachers and parents regarding the conduction of upcoming examinations such as boards, JEE NEET and so on.

If you have any doubt you can also as it using #EducationMinisterGoesLive either on twitter or Facebook or any other social media site. After this live session some decision might be taken regarding the dates for upcoming examinations. So till then we have to wait for it.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

l score 21 marks in iiser exam and I score 80 % in +2 exam chse. Can I selected in iiser 2020??? . catagory (SC)

Shakti Swarupa Bhanja 4th Oct, 2020

Hello Ashish !

Though there is no official release of cutoff marks and rank by the IISERs but it is very unlikely i.e impossible to bag a seat in any of the IISERs with 21 marks in IAT with any kind of reservation.

It is generalised that about 75+(with reservation) in IAT may get you a seat in the newest IISERs. But 21 marks is too low....

Please note that that the board cutoff for every board is relaxed upto 60% due to the COVID-19 crisis. And you just have to cross the cutoff, it doesn't play such a big role for getting you in the merit list, only your marks in IAT does(along with your reservation)

There is no need to be disheartened...you can try again and excel in the exam again. When there is will, there is way !

All the best !
