Is civil engineering is a good career option ? what is the salary for civil engineer in Maharashtra ?

Subhodeep Biswas 28th Jan, 2020
Hey there hope you're doing well.
Yes civil engineering is a good career option. In fact civil engineers have more opportunities than other branches of engineering when it come to jobs. Also with more and more experience the payscale for civil engineers increases. In government sector and gov. Jobs there are more vacancies in civil engineering branch. The average placement packages for civil engineers is around 6 to 8 lacs p.a.
In Maharashtra the payscale for civil engineers varies with companies. On average it varies from 4/5 to 8 lacs per annum.
Thank you hope this helps you!

Hello sir I got seat in 1st phase with 729 rank. But I want to go for second phase can I have any chance to get seat in CVSR civil branch?

Aquil Uzzama 23rd Aug, 2019

Hi there Ramya Yata! Hope you're having a great day.

I would like to inform you that it's very likely for you to get a seat in Anurag Group of Institutions but I have a doubt you may get civil within this rank since according to the recent trends it is to be noted that civil engineering cutoff closes around 700. Always remember luck favours the brave.

Hope this helps. Thank you.
