With 87 marks your ranking might be between 7000-9000 so you may not get the top engineering colleges through comedk but since there are 150 college affiliated to this exam you can get civil engineering branch but not in good college. If you want to take admission in good college

That depends on your area of interest in which you are willing to pursue your engineeering from.

If you feel Civil is good then it is best to stay with Jadavpur

If you are interested in say CSE,ECE then it is better to choose branch over college and join
