The Approximate strength of any NIT is anywhere between 500-700, with roughly 50-60 Students in any Branch. Ofcourse certain branches like Mechanical and CSE have higher number of seats.

It is not possible to say the average package of any particular stream because it may differ but ya in top colleges like NIT’s you can accept a better placement and a good package compare to some medium level colleges, so NIT Allahabad is one of the top level
