As per your question according to the data CSE has better placement than Civil because in CSE branch,

all kinds of school , private or government, has better placement record.

You can't do MSc in geology after completion of BTech in civil engineering because both the fileds are different and if you've applied for a MSc geology then your application will be getting rejected as the qualifications degree is bsc geology or applied geology . So in that case you
