Both the branches has their own scopes and both of them are really good.

But if you are focusing on quick profit and scopes in india with greater salaries then you must opt electrical branch as, nowadays the electrical engineers are having high demand in every industry.

There are some of the polytechnic or diploma colleges which are affiliated by AICTE, now as your University is affiliated by UGC , which is also satisfactory, however it also depends on the organization or recruitment criteria , if it mentioned that AICTE approval than it is necessary,
