My GATE Score is 388 and 36.35 marks in civil engineering General Category. In CCMT registration payment for the round 1,2,3 if i didnt get the college, will i have to pay registration fee again for the Special Round. And if Yes. In 388 score should i only apply for the Special rounds.

Whether or not you are allotted a seat in CCMT counselling if you want to participate in spot round you need to register once again and make fee payment.The fee is as follows

  • NSR Registration fee - Rs. 2,500 (General/EWS/OBC), Rs.2000(SC/ST/PWD)
  • NSR Participation fee - Rs.40,000(General/EWS/OBC), Rs.10,000( SC/ST/PWD)

As I can see last year trends you should secure rank under 50-60 thousand to get admission safely otherwise it can go upto 70000-80000 if there is any seat available in special rounds ( but you can not take risk and wait for the special chance .)

You can appear for any civil service exam , no need to worry , as there is no eligibility criteria based on any school. The important criteria of educational qualification is that you should have completed the degree from a recognized Indian University .
