Does St.Xaviers Kolkata (AUTONOMOUS) consider HSC applications for admission into BSC ECONOMICS?

St. Xavier's Kolkata take admission in their B.Sc. Economics programme on the basis of class 12th marks. Mathematics is a compulsory subject for the admissions (Business Maths won't work). Aggregate marks calculation is done as - Maths + any 3 more subject. Marks requirement is aggregate 60% and Maths 60%.

As per the criteria of 2018 and previous years HSC board are the combined marks of theory and practicals still taken for scoring 35% in 2019

Yes in hsc the marks of practical and theory are combined together after both paper one should get atleaat  35% to pass hsc 

For example 

X score in 22 marks in theory out of 70 marks and x score 25 marks in practical out of 30 marks and

For getting in national institute of technology or indian institute of technology you have to score at lest 75% aggreate for general and obc category and For  SC/ St student have 65% in your hsc board examination otherwise you cannot get iits or nits you are talking about
