If you want the correct guidance,kindly tell how low is your score. For good student even 90 pecentile is low because they have less chance to get a call from IIM.As your Past academic qualifications are average, and by assuming different scenarios, I would give my suggestions

When you'll start your higher secondary studies i.e. 11-12 Std, simultaneously your preparation for national level exams will be started by your coaching institute. Your need to focus on both the studies that time.. i.e. your school work studies + your coachings. Hope your are getting my point.

Hey!

You are in 10th so you have a lot of time . If your aim is Jipmer then you should know that it conducts  it's own entrance exams for admission there and 10th and 12th marks don't matter much except for a minimum cutoff.
