No it will not going to create any problem but according to the information brochure released by NTA for JEE-Main 2021 your state of eligibility will be considered as the state from where you will pass your class 12th.

CAT exam just needs a bachelor's degree from a recognised university and there is no requirement for maths in STD 12th but for 10th schools usually have maths as their subject and also CAT exam has portion which contains concepts like numerical ability, percentage, probablity, profit and loss etc.

Hello, Polytechnic is like an integrated course of higher secondary and your diploma course so the  eligibility criteria is that you should have passed your 10th or equivalent exam.Hence you can get admission based on your 10th marksheet itself.
