 You must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) exam from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. If you are appearing final exam in 2019 are also eligible. A minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for reserved categories) required at appear GUJCET 2019.

No, its not compulsory. You can repeat class 12 if you failed but your one year will be wasted. You may write the compartmental exam.
Other option to continue schooling you could choose NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling).

You can give the exam from other school but you will have to repeat class 11 too and you cannot appear directly in class 12 cbse board.Though you still have time to prepare for board exam and you can also prepare for getting good marks.
