focusing on your class 11 marks is not that much nessecry but u should score 90% in your class 11 th examinations
to start preparing for NEET u must do MCQ's daily and should always follow NCERT text books for refernce
Dear student, thanks for your question. To get into IIST YOU have to score very good marks in jee advanced. To briefly say for a General category student 75% in your 12th board examination is must and you must score at least 20% of jee advanced 5% from each subject

Yes, you should start your NEET preparation. First of all, you should read NCERT books of Physics, Chemistry & Biology of class 11th & 12th at least 5 times. You should also try to solve the previous years question papers again and again, and start giving mock test.
