with 87 percentile and under obc category,i am sorry to say that you wont be able to get any seat in NIT.
However these cutoffs are based on previous years trends lets hope for the best to happen.

The cutoff varies every year depending on various factors. Also, the counseling for admission to Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology has been conducted and since it is late to answer this query, I hope you have been allotted a seat in any decent college.

If you have scored 75%ile and you are general then you haven't scored enough to get NITs/IIITs and GFTIs .So you can try for state engineering colleges.You must be knowing form this year onwards almost all state engineering college will take admission on the basis of JEE mains
