It depends if maths was your main subject or not, if it was your main subject then either you have to clear your compartment exam or you have to repeat your class12th. Although Maths isnt necessary for this course.

For Geology Msc eligibility criteria is -
Essential subjects at (10+2) level- Mathematics
Essential subjects in bachelor’s degree along with minimum duration - Geology for three years/six semesters and any two subjects among Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biological Science.
