Bro, actually in VIT, admission takes place through it's own paper. You should have give its paper to increase your chances for admission, as VIT gives priority to the students giving their own paper and scoring in them. You can take admission in VIT through it's paper only. 

I don't think that you are fulfilling any criteria for getting admission into nit.

First of all you are having only 57 % in 12th class which is less than 75% criteria for getting admission in nit's. Let's say that you managed to get over 75 % marks in 12th.
