If 88.6 is your jee mains percentile then your general rank will approximately close to 1,10,000 and with this rank it is hard to get seat in NIT in general category but as your board percentage is less than 75 you will not get any seat in NIT

With this much score in your jee mains examination you would have got the seat at a very decent NIT but your score in boards examination is low which will not allow you to get the seat through jee mains. You should have scored atleast 65 percent
