If you want to appear in jee mains with your improved score then you have to appear for all 5 subjects then only you will be eligible.

Mostly the merit goes very high around 95 It's because everyone targets DU..

But yes you can go for other universities and colleges there you might get a chance.

For JEE, you should have passed 12th or equivalent with minimum 5 subjects and 75% marks.
