It isn't that maths is compulsory to apply and appear for all the entrance test or even apply to some college/university only if you have maths as a subject in class 12th . You can get admissions in mostly all the universities/colleges if you don't have maths ,

You can appear  JEE Advance consecutively 2 times. There is no age limit present.Since, you have appeared JEE Advance in 2018 that makes your 1st attempt.So, you can surely attempt it this year.

Acc. To me B.tech is the better option. Polytechnic is good for class 10th students not for 12th students. B.tech provides lot of opportunity & it is 4 year course. & if you will get good college, then you will also get good placements opportunity.
