English honours can be taken up by any student persuing any stream. There is no fixed catergorisation for subject requirement. Only pre- condition for opting English honours is that you need to include English as a subject in the count

Your 12th marks percentage is very poor.. To get admission in DU you have to fulfill the eligibility criteria first..

But 92 percentile is not so good to get seat into National Institutes and iit.
I think you should work more harder to get a seat.
You should get a 99 or 98.5 percentile to get a seat.
