CMR College of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad
Hello aspirant,
Please do mention your category ,otherwise it is difficult to deliver the best result from our side.
However for open category, the previous year cutoff for cse group is below 10,000. So it might be difficult to get.
For reserved categories other than OC, you can surely expect a cse seat in cmr college.
Here i'm providing a link for your college prediction which will be very helpful in determining which colleges can you get based on the rank you scored,

Hope this helps
Good luck
No there is no chance to get admission in CMR as your rank is beyond 15k the chances are very low .
Among the CMR group of Institutions, CMRIT and CMRCET are the best as they have good ratings by NAAC and NBA. Also they provide good placements but still it depends on your talent as most of the placements are for CSE/IT stream students. You can apply for mechanical engineering (later entry) in any of the two colleges and total fees is around 2.25 lakhs INR.
Hi
Based on your rank and caste there is a chance of getting Admission in any particular college so please mention your caste to help you better based on your rank it's really hard to get admission in cmrcet as it is the one of the top autonomous campus and you need to score in thousands to get Admission even if you belongs to any caste it's really hard to get Admission but few chances if you belongs to sc or st category
Hope this information is helpful
All the best

Both are however equivalent in respective parameters and was established around the same time in just a 2 year gap.
Both are privately owned and NAAC A graded colleges, MRCET has a slightly bigger campus and slightly lower course fee.
the median placement package for BE/BTech in CMR is 3.60 lpa while for MRCET it is 3.85.
Hope these differences help you decide
Hello Aspirant,
Both the colleges are of the same group and have the same owner but are two different colleges with CMRCET having a slight upper hand as the overall ranking is slightly better than that of CMRIT. Both have same accreditations and the fee structure is also similar.

Dear Aspirant,
Both the Colleges come under the same ownership and they differ with very few differences. However, the main campus is the CMR Engineering College (CMRCET) and CMR Institute of technology comes the next. It is also the top college and has a bit less intake and all the terms regarding placements, facilities, faculty remains the same.
