Hello, Both the colleges have an almost similar level of placements. There are different core companies like Tech Mahindra, Sony, Bosch, Ericsson, and others that visit the CMRIT college. Nitte Meenakshi has a similar track record. CSE and ECE students are easily placed due to the fact that the college is located in Bangalore. But the placement of core branches in these college is average.

Your confusion is clearly justified.Every year we are all confused in choosing CSE OR ISE/IT. But you got to decide this for yourselves. For a minute, leave behind the thought of over rated CSE courses and placement, just go through the course structure of both CSE and ISE. There are differences in their structure. I too did this before taking up the college. Look in their course structure, what interests you and then take up that course. 

Do not always think of placements,it is all in your hands how you develop your skillset.

Well, according to me if would be in your place if would definitely go for MRCET rather than going to CMRIT. MRCET has far better placements than CMRIT and its too good in terms of academics.

MRCET is rated higher than the others if you see the rankings of the colleges but I would advise you to go check the college, ask seniors and check student forums also. Check the fees, infrastructure, placement reports also before you make your decision.

I would suggest you to choose Cambridge institute of technology, banglore for CSE. The college is said to have good infrastucture and facult. It is also said to have a good placement record for CSE students with 5 lakhs package and with almost 80-85% of students getting placed every year.All the best. Hope you make the right decision.

The closing rank for Electronics and Communication Engineering at CMR Institute of Technology was around 34000 and at New Horizon College of Engineering was around 25000. So you have very few chances of getting it.

With your rank, you can get Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Automobile Engineering at above colleges.

Cmrit is obviously a better college for CSE. If you wish to go for Cs then better option is obviously Cmrit. Its better in every respect and amenities provided are excellent. Better to go with this opportunity rather than just being with others. with latest technology trends and all things updated academic curriculum is also good.

CMRIT is the best place for assured placements in good companies. Placements were pretty good this year. The highest salary package of 18lakh per annum is currently offered by VMware this year. The average package is around 4.5 Lacs p. a. Many top companies like VM ware, Huawei, Sony, Deloitte, Morgan Stanley, Appdynamics, ABCO, Commvault, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Oracle, HP, TCS, BOSCH, eurofins, etc. Have visited the campus. There is a placement cell which helps the students prepare for their placements in all aspects. Students are being trained right from the first year for placements also which makes things way much easier for them.
