CMR Institute of Technology, Bangalore
Hello shaik Babu,
If you specifically ask about CMR University, then I regret to inform you in capital letters, that it SUCKS, big time!
I left Mumbai to pursue triple majors there which was well advertised by their admissions counsellor and placement officer (psychology, literature and what Bombay was not offering in BA - Journalism)… within a week I was informed that Journalism was not a major, just a side subject! Leaving Mumbai, all for nothing...
The whole college has a lazy vibe to it, the teachers are present in the college but will never and I mean never come to teach.. instead they’ll ask you to write essays on amateur topics for attendance!!!
I’ll share a funny incident, we had our exams and our Journalism professor didn’t give us any notes (she never came to teach lmao) and the day before she tells us, “what are you’ll so worried about, it’s just a damn 20 marks test” and promises to send the notes by 3 in the afternoon (yes, the day before the exam)! But surprise, surprise she has a family wedding to attend and so doesn’t send the notes at all (delaying all the while, “I’ll send by 5pm, I’ll send by 9pm, I’ll send by 11pm”, and then nothing.. and because she didn’t send the notes everyone in our class got 19 on 20...
That is how great CMR university is! I was lucky enough to leave it in 6 months because as soon as I came to know that they keep your original documents for the next 3 years and don’t return until you pay the fees for the 3 years, I decided to leave immediately while I still had my documents!!!
.
I’ll tell you one thing, Mumbai University may not be that great but at least you pay 3k for the whole year and don’t learn a lot, instead of paying 90k (excluding the exam fees) and not learning anything at all...
Ps- The library has no books at all, nothing, nada. There are no extra curricular activities, fests or anything held in the college. Each one of my friend is still crying, they got stuck up because of the certificates...

Hello dhanush I
Hands down SVIT.
I am doing my undergrad in CSE from SVIT currently. I have participated in some national/regional level hackathons. Won in some, learnt in all. (Hence, I qualify to answer your question)
SVIT has one of best teaching faculty when it come to computer science headed by MR. Padma Reddy. (You will get used to his name in sometime regardless of the college you join)
I remember, a friend of mine told me that their was one topic in PCD(1 or 2 sem) which no teacher from that college was able to explain it to the students. Mr. Padma Reddy was called to BMSIT to deliver a lecture on the same topic.
Me and a few of my peers have started a programming and design club(P&DC)recently in our college. College has permitted us to use the facilities till 8pm. (This club is a plus point if you are really into programming)
If we see the placements of CSE and ISE in SVIT and ATRIA. I would go for ATRIA. REASON: ATRIA and MVIT has the same management, so the students of ATRIA can go and attend placements in MVIT.
Placement in SVIT(CSE)on the other hand is 6 on a scale of 10. People hardly get placed for a developer’s profile. Almost all are tech-support. Again can't blame college for this, the students aren't good enough for developers post. You work on your programming skills from start and see how...

Hello Mani kanta kaspa,
Yes.
The placement of college is good. Many of the seniors got placed in companies like Amazon, IBM, etc. 85% students got placed. Companies like IBM, Amazon, Synesis, etc. 60-70% students got an internship from the college. Talking about salary, I think it was good enough with highest going till Rs 14 LPA.
Facilities like Wi-Fi, sports, medical facilities are available. The college has 3 types of grounds for football, basketball, etc. The college organizes, as well as participates in, events (technical/non-technical). The quality of labs & classrooms is good. The quality of food in the canteen in good, but not so good in the mess. The hostel rooms are average...
The faculty members are friendly. Some of them are helpful, some are not. Talking about qualifications, some are new, some are well experienced. The teaching method is normal- sometimes on projector, sometimes on board. The course curriculum is useful. Some faculty members are well-qualified and having knowledge, while some are still not so good.Facilities like Wi-Fi, sports, medical facilities are available. The college has 3 types of grounds for football, basketball, etc.
Hello,
Cambridge college has good reviews and high ratings also. It is a good college and suitable place for learning and placement.
CMRIT college has almost same review point and rating of 7.9. Good place for learning and building career.
Any of one is good for you to take an admission. The most important point to become good in CSE is your skills in coding and projects. There must be something unique which you can showcase to other.
Hope it helps!
