I am not sure I understand your question but are you asking if you can attempt JEE Main without class 12? Not really as that is the eligibility. So diploma candidates will have to write JEE Main to appear for JEE Advanced but they cannot apply for admissions to NITs

YES. CUSAT started offering 5 year integrated BS-MS Courses in physics , Chemistry, Mathematics and Statistics from the year 2018. You can also end  the course after 3rd year with a B sc degree if you want to go somewhere else for post graduation.

I have seen people in Photonics achieving great heights in their 5 years course by opting to various projects, internships, conference etc. whereas Msc photonics is a good course at CUSAT
