The admissions are conducted on the basis of online Common Admission Test ( CUSAT CAT) or online Lateral Entry Test (LET) or Departmental Admission Test ( CUSAT DAT), by the University. The university also accepts GATE and MAT/CAT scores for admissions in Mtech and MBA courses.

yes to get admission in cochin university of science and technology for the course B.Tech you need to appear for CUSAT CAT 2020 in order to be eligible for the same course  but i think you have missed it because the registration of CUSAT CAT exam has been closed

For other courses, karunya is a little costlier compared to Cusat.

Both the colleges are pretty good with academics, infrastructure, campus placements etc.

In my opinion CUSAT has better placement oppurtunities.
