Hello Aspirant ,
The coaching university's marine biology department has been around since 1958, and it features great teachers and lab space. For placement, there isn't any information, though. Getting in touch with senior students could be beneficial. Following completion of the MSC programme, you may work as a lecturer in a private or public college. additionally, if you're fortunate, you might land a job as a research fellow at another university. You can also take the UGCC Net exam.

Gayatri you didn't mention your preference for any specific course as CUSAT is the gateway exam for multiple course programs, so we will go with all the possible undergraduate courses at your rank and considering your category to be general:
Engineering:
Apart from these there are other specialisation wise courses, Intergrated MSc programmes, BBA LLB, BCom LLB etc. programmes which you can consider as an option.
Hope that helped. Thanks!
Hello Dev,
As you have not mentioned your category here I will go with all the rank cutoffs, for general category was 37 in the previous year (2021), ETB (Ezhava/ Thiyya/ Billava) category was 102 and finally 580 for the KSC/KST category. So if you are from any of the first two categories, you don't have any chance securing a seat in the desired course with 320th rank. For more info on CUSAT BCom LLB exam refer to this article:

Hope that helps.
All the Best!
Hi,
There are only 60 seats available for Integrated MSc in CUSAT. Out of 60 there are 30 general seats. A seperate rank list is prepared for Integrated MSc from the CUSAT CAT exam. From this seat allocation takes place. In year 2018 last rank admitted in general category is below 1000(700 something). In 2019 (last year) it is below 1500(around 1300–1400 something) and in year 2021 it is somewhere between 700 - 750 . So these are all previous year statistics. So there will be change in recent year rank for each year because it depends on many factors like no of students opting this course, difficulty level of CAT question paper, marks scored by the other students etc.
All the best !
