Hi Aspirant!
According to previous year placements record IIIT Gwalior is better than IIIT Jabalpur as IIIT Gwalior has average package around 14 lakhs while IIIT Jabalpur is around 7 lakhs. Generally students neglect Dual Degree as it gives less package but in this case the data is opposite so if you want to experience knoweldge as well as good package you should opt IIIT Gwalior IT(Dual Degree,5 year) but if you want work experience more then you can opt IIIT jabalpur CSE .
I hope it helps.

Hello Pradeep,
It’s difficult to tell you the exact about your admission possibilities but as per the previous year cutoff as a general category looks like you may not get top NITs, but may have chances in other branches like NIT Durgapur ,NIT Hamirpur ,NIT Agartala etc or top IIITs & GFTIs however your chances may vary with your category and if you go through state quota you may have more chances. You definitely will have good option among private colleges though. Anyways attend the counselling and see your possibilities. To know your admission chances in JOSSA & State counseling you can use JEE Main college Predictor tool.

Dear aspirant,
For UP, there is provision for defence but no such thing is provided under All-India-Quota. Reservation under this is only provided by the State and for that either of your parents should be either in Airforce, Navy, Army or they should have had served for at least 10 years in their respective fields.
The seat distribution is given below, you can apply under the following quota:
UPFF Quota - 02%
Dependents of Freedom Fighters from Uttar Pradesh
UPAF Quota - 05%
Sons / Daughters of defence personnel of U.P. either retired (superannuated) or killed/disabled in action or defence personnel posted in U.P./defence personnel domicile of U.P. & posted outside U.P.
Hope this helped.
For DU there is a reservation of 15% for SC candidates and 7.5% for ST candidates and this is probably the same in all the colleges in INDIA.
For more info's you should visit the college website in which you are trying to get a admission at and you will know the exact number of seats available for the department you want to opt for.
I hope my answer helps you. All the very best for your future endeavors!
As according to your marks by subject wise they are very less chances of Getting NIT's and IIT's.
As you can get through the below link:

As you have not mentioned about the name of examination so it is little bit difficult to guide you with an accurate information but however if we consider your profile then you might be interested in engineering exams like JEE-Main. According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question your son can get top NITs like NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Uttarakhand, NIT Jaipur as per previous year's cut-offs which you can check from the link given below :-
https://www.google.com/amp/s/engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-top-nits/amp
Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.
So you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your son's chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India :-
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
