College admission in India
Hello debayansen.ds.ds,
Well, as per the previous year's trend and comparing it to current year's jossa stats:
there is very low chance of you getting ECE (in 2019 josaa last round closing rank was 167441and this year it is 113082 so a drop is seen and so will be in csab), previous year CSAB closing rank for ECE was 167441 and chances are for a drop in this year too!, so definitely there is very less chance for you...
Hope this helps, and feel free to ask any further query...
Hi, as per me E&I in NIT Agartala is a better option than ece in NERIST. The placement in ece are not upto the mark. Some of the current occasional recruiters are like Tech Mahindra, Power Grid Cooperation of India, Oil India, Wipro, TCS, Cummin India, Asahi Glass, Infosys, and some other regional companies.
Looking at the placement of NIT Agartala, it has great placement records. Last year around 22 companies visited the campus. The highest salary package offered was Rs 36 LPA and the average salary package offered was between Rs 4.5-5 LPA. Infosys emerged to be the star recruiter with 69 job offers. Top companies such as Accenture, IBM, McAfee, Google and Morgan Stanley visited the campus this year for recruitment.
So I would say NIT Agartala is better. Rest you can choose accordingly.
Hello,
Slab 4 in Amrita Vishwavidyalaya means you need to pay regular fees of Rs 2,80,000 .
In slabs 1,2,3 you get a scholarship fees .
In slab 4 the fees would range higher than other slabs .
Along with hostel ,the fees would range around 3.5lakhs
Hope this helps you
All the best!
Hello Pradeep,
It’s difficult to tell you the exact about your admission possibilities but as per the previous year cutoff as a general category looks like you may not get top NITs, but may have chances in other branches like NIT Durgapur ,NIT Hamirpur ,NIT Agartala etc or top IIITs & GFTIs however your chances may vary with your category and if you go through state quota you may have more chances. You definitely will have good option among private colleges though. Anyways attend the counselling and see your possibilities. To know your admission chances in JOSSA & State counseling you can use JEE Main college Predictor tool.

Hello aspirant
With 79 percentile you have qualified Jee main 2020 as you are from OBC category. Cut off 2020 for OBC Category is 72.888
Now which college you will get, depends upon cut off Jee main if that college. Cut off depends upon number of candidates appeared and qualified in exam, difficulty level of exam and previous year's cut off, availability of the seats etc. It also depends upon which branch you wish? Cut off for CSE is always high . For admission to IIT colleges you will have to appear for jee advanced. You can try in NIT colleges such as NIT SURATHKAL, NIT NAGPUR, etc

Hello aspirant,
Yes, passing certificate of class 12 is mandatory for admission into NIT. Without this document and all other documents mentioned for the document verification process, it is impossible to get admission into NIT. Class 12 passing certificate is the proof that you have passed your class 12. Without passing class 12 you cannot take admission into any undergraduate program. So yes, class 12 passing certificate is important and mandatory.
Hello student,
The placement of electronics and instrumentation engineering very well depends on from which nit would you pursue it from. The top nit's would have a good placement in this branch. If you would share with us which nit would you get into according to your rank then we would surely tell you a detailed view of the placements in that nit.
Dear Aspirant
You might have a chance at the lower NITs like NIT uttarakhand, Imphal, etc and your home state NIT lower branch, if it is not in the list:-
