Which college is better GL Bajaj or Galgotia college for Btech computer science. placement, faculty and college life i am very confused please let me know

Piyush 6th Aug, 2022

Hello aspirant,

Both of the above stated colleges are good as they are excellent for academics, better at placements and good at facilities, Extra curricular activities, Opportunity and also for other carrier options. Both college have very good placement records and both have giving same package.

but if you ask me, I would suggest you to go for Galgotias. Galgotias is way better than G.L bajaj in Infrastructure, Environment, Academic . This is because they have slightly better placements and Academics life as compared to GL bajaj for B.Tech CSE branch.

Now if I talk about Placements opportunities at Galgotias, It is one of the best private colleges in UP . Placements: In the CSE department, most of the students get placed with a salary package that ranges from 3-4 LPA. The highest salary package offered ranges from 11-12 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, IBM, etc., visit our college for placements.

Further, to know more about the Galgotias College of Engineering, you can follow the below mentioned link to know more : https://www.careers360.com/colleges/galgotias-college-of-engineering-and-technology-greater-noida

I hope that this will help.

age matters for NITs college graduation??

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 11th Mar, 2022

Hi

Your profile suggests that your class 12th engineering aspirant.

No, your age doesn't if you want to get admission in NITs for your engineering.

This is because,

Admission in NITs is through jee main and for jee main there's no age limit.

So, irrespective of your age, you can get admission in NITs on the basis of your rank in jee main.

For your reference,

Jee main eligibility criteria is given below-

---------------------------) Qualification required :- to be eligible  for JEE mains you need 10+2/equivalent qualification from a recognised board.

Course

Required Criteria based on Class 12th  or equivalent

B.E/B.Tech

Passed qualifying examination with Physics and   Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of :-

----)Chemistry

-----)Biotechnology

-----)Biology

----) Technical Vocational subject.

B.Arch

Passed qualifying examination with

-----)Mathematics,

-----)Physics,

------) Chemistry

To be eligible for B. Arch , you have at least 50% in aggregate of Physics, chemistry and Maths and also 50 % in overall in 12th/equivalent

You must have at least 50% marks in Maths in 12th and also 50% in 12th /equivalent overall.

-------------------------) Passing year :- one is eligible for JEE main examination for consecutive three years starting from the year of appearing for 12th /equivalent examination i. e to be eligible  for JEE mains 2022 you should be either appearing for 12th board exam or equivalent  in 2022 or should have passed it in 2021 or 2020

-------------------------) There is no age limit to be eligible

-------------------------) there is no minimum percentage requirement to be eligible for JEE Main for BE /Btech.

But yes,

To be eligible for BE/BTech  in NITs, IIITs, CFTIs one needs at least 75% marks in class 12th if belongs to General or OBC category  or at least 65% marks in class 12th if belongs to Sc or St category or needs to be in top 20 percentile of their board examination.

IMPORTANT NOTE :-  This minimum percentage barrier of 75 % - 65% for NITs, IIITs, CFTIs  has been lifted off for jee main 2022 . It means to be eligible all you need to be eligible is to have at least passed 12th .
