ksinghh222 11th Dec, 2021

Hello student,

As per the earlier guidelines regarding counselling for MBBS, BDS or AYUSH, it was mentioned that if you're allotted any college of your choices in any round, which you have to mention during the choice filling step, then either you take admission in that college or not NO money will be refunded to the candidate. Because according to their rules the refund is done to those candidates who didn't get seat through their counselling in any of the rounds.

Maybe the guidelines changes or modifications are done, it's all under the control of authorities. So kindly go through the guidelines once the counselling begins.

Hope you get some clarification.

My jee mains 2021 rank is 1766 and jee advanced rank is 4014 . I want to take CSE/IT . what are the best Colleges . please help me.

Anurag Khanna 15th Oct, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned your category so considering it as General.

So on such CRL rank in JEE-Main you have good chances to get top NITs with CSE/IT branch but on such JEE-Advance 2021 AIR you have very low or almost no chances to get CSE in any of the IITs because closing AIR for IITs with CSE were around 2k. But note that you can definitely go for some other branches in IITs on such AIR.

If we go through previous year's data of seat allotment then on the basis of CRL mentioned in the question by you, you can go for the enlisted colleges :-

Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad - Computer Science Engineering (3073)

National Institute of Technology Calicut - Computer Science and Engineering (3682)

National Institute of Technology Rourkela - Computer Science and Engineering (3296)

Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur - Computer Science and Engineering (4708)

And some more. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Note that the above list is merely a prediction which has been made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of either JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

sir / maam i got 530 marks in neet 2021 can I get government seat in private colleges in karnataka I belong to obc3a category

ayanmukherjee045 24th Nov, 2021

Dear aspirant,

As per your marks which is 530 in neet 2021 and considering you are aiming for government colleges but let me tell you the dynamics gets changed every year because it depends on certain factors.

But if you were to take my opinion I would  recommend you to kindly go for home state quota then you would stand fair chances of getting into government colleges. Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
