I am using MD Rank College predictor. it does not cover all Private colleges

Biswadeep Biswas 10th Oct, 2021

With this rank, it is difficult to get seat in any government college. However you have chances for private colleges.

But which branch you'll get that is difficult to predict.

As CS, IT branch are top branches for which maximum students go. Depending upon cut off you'll get a branch. Cut off varies every year as it depends upon no of candidates appearing, qualifying, difficulty level of exam, last year's trends and available no of seats.

Colleges like

Manipal Institute of Technology

SRM Institute of Science and Technology

BMS college of engineering

RV College of engineering

So according to the data, on such marks and category you have good chances of getting government seat in some medical colleges in Karnataka under state quota but you have very low chances for any of the government medical colleges through AIQ counselling, still you have chances for deemed universities through AIQ counselling according to previous year's cut-off.

As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that you have chances in following colleges :-

@State quota

M.V.J.Medical College and Research Hospital, Channasandra, Bangalore

Vydehi Institute of Medical Science and Research Centre, Bangalore

A.J.Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore

Sri Basaveshwara Medical College and Hospital, Chitradurga

@All India Quota

MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai:- 380 marks

B.L.D.E University, Bijapur:- 387 marks

Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar:- 426 marks

SBKS Med. Inst. and Res. Centre, Sumandeep  Vadodara:- 446 marks

Yenepoya Manglaore:-436 marks

ayanmukherjee045 19th Nov, 2021

Dear aspirant,

It's difficult to predict as your percentile is too low and even if I consider your obc category still it will be difficult to get the colleges. As it depends on certain factors like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

The college predictor link will help you in finding the best colleges through the marks / percentile provided on the basis of previous years trends.
