To be eligible for NDA exam your age should be between 16.5 and 19.5 years. And you are pursuing graduation, therefore, it is better to go NDA. Since to be eligible for CDS you need to first complete graduation.

Every branch is equivalent for Indian Armed forces. You must have good knowledge of your subjects that will help you in the selection process, specially in the interview. So it depends on your interset & capability. Mainly you can go for Civil, Electronics & Communication & Mechanical.
