Hey!
i would say ECE.
though the eligibility is any bachelors for cds, i would say read engineering. because an engineer can perform technically well on a battle field. so coming to branches of engineering, you can actually take up any engineering. but the cadets in NDA are compelled to study ece engineering (for airforce and navy).
so when they themselves do that, why shouldnt we take that as an example. so study ece is what i would say.
i hope it helps you
Hello,
You are eligible to give CDS as the education qualification required for CDS is that candidates should have bachelor's Degree from a recognised University or equivalent institute and for Air Force Academy candidates should have a bachelor's Degree from a recognised University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor degree in engineering. So you are eligible to give CDS exam.
there is no way you can now apply for cds. since it is defence based, they are very strict in all the things right from the beginning.
you are eligible for cds from age 19 to 24. which means you will be eligible till cds 2 2022. after which you become ineligible for cds. you can also try TGC entry.
good luck. all the best for your ssb

Hi.
Each and every exam for job prospectus or graduation is difficult. Depending on your interest and the career you wish to pursue. If you wish to go in Civil Services then UPSC, if you wish to be in research and sciences then ISRO Exam is the way to go, AFCAT is for Commissioned Officers in Flying, Ground Duty (Technical) and Ground Duty (Non-Technical) branches.
These all are somewhat mutually exclusive, that means if you prepare for one you might not have enough time or interest for the other. Incase you have a specific query about one of these exams. Please feel free to comment.
Best of Luck
