Question : Select the option that will improve the underlined part of the sentence. In case no improvement is needed, select ‘No improvement required’. Not everything that happen in natures is due to global warming alone.
Option 1: that happening on nature
Option 2: which happens in natures
Option 3: No improvement required
Option 4: that happens in nature
Correct Answer: that happens in nature
Solution : The fourth option is the correct answer.
In English, verbs must agree with their subjects in number. In the original sentence, everything is a singular subject, so the verb should be in its singular form. The correction involves changing happen to happens to ensure subject-verb agreement.
Therefore, the correct sentence should be: Not everything that happens in nature is due to global warming alone.
Regarding your inquiry, I'm happy to let you know that the minimum age to take the CDS exam is 19 years old, and the maximum age varies between 22 and 24 years old depending on the field, such as the Indian Military Academy or the Air Force. You can anticipate that 2027 will be your final attempt year for the CDS exam since, based on your date of birth, you will turn 24 in that year. So you can give around 4 attempts.

Hello,
In the correction window, the candidates can edit their CDS 1 application form from January 10 to 16, 2024. The candidates who have registered for the CDS for the first time can modify their profile on the UPSC's official website which will happen once in a lifetime....between January 10 to 16, 2024. However, the date has already gotten over so it's not possible to do it anymore.
Hope this helps,
Unfortunately you are not eligible for the CDS 1 2024 exam. According to the notification released by UPSC for CDS 1 2024, the DOB should be no earlier than 2nd January, 2000 and the no later than 1st January 2006. In other words your DOB should fall in between these dates. As it is not the case you won't be able to apply for the exam. There is a misinformation circulating across the internet that the age limit for appearing on the CDS written exam is under 25, which is not true. Rather you should be under 25 when joining the academy. As the OTA courses start roughly a year after the written exam, technically to apply for CDS you should be under 24 at that moment. You can anyway check this with the website where you apply online, if you put your DOB, it will show you are not eligible.
