My son wants to change his stream from science to commerce in 12th as he is not able to score well in those subjects and school has also agreed . Is doing btech considered to be of more reputation as ccompared to b com ? Should he work more hard in science or change the stream ?

Shivanshu 29th Apr, 2024

Dear aspirant !

Hope you are doing well ! Let him choose according to his interest, don't impose science on him if he can't manage those subjects, other than bcom there is lot of better option in commerce also ,don't just think of bcom . Try for CAT , competition exams like SSC chsl, cgl etc ,can go for upsc . yes there is difference between their value in terms of job opportunity . B Tech is professional degree so the chances of getting job in technical field is easy it also depends on your knowledge and interest in that field.

Hope it helps you!

Chartered accountant ka sath which degree is best b.com / b.com hons. / BBA integrated / b.com + mba 2 years please suggest me

Tanya Gupta 9th Apr, 2024

Hello,

For pursuing a career as a Chartered Accountant (CA), a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree is a solid choice. B.Com provides a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, taxation, finance, and business management, which are essential for CA studies. It offers a strong foundation in subjects directly relevant to the CA profession, such as accounting, auditing, and financial management. Additionally, B.Com allows flexibility to choose elective subjects related to finance and accounting, which can complement CA studies.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you

commerce students pursuing Bsc courses

Tanya Gupta 11th Apr, 2024

Hello,

Yes, it is possible for commerce students to pursue BSc (Bachelor of Science) courses, depending on the specific program and the institution's eligibility criteria. While BSc programs traditionally focus on science subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, and computer science, some universities offer interdisciplinary BSc programs that allow students from diverse academic backgrounds to enroll. These interdisciplinary BSc programs may include subjects like economics, statistics, environmental science, information technology, or even management courses, which can be suitable for commerce students interested in expanding their academic horizons or pursuing careers in related fields.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you
