i m commerce stream maths student my 12th is completed i want to do join air force can i do it please tell me please and what i have to do for this tell me please

Sharon Rose Student Expert 11th Sep, 2021

Hello,

To join in Air Force Academy you must have studied Mathematics and Physics in 10+2 level from a recognized board if you wish to join through NDA after class 12th or CDS after passing in graduation. But you haven't studied Physics in 10+2 level so you can join in Air Force Academy through AFCAT in the following field

LOGISTICS BRANCH
  • Must have passed  three year Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university with 60% marks or equivalent or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
ACCOUNTS BRANCH
  • Must have passed three year B.Com degree from a recognised university with a minimum 60% marks or equivalent.
ADMINISTRATION BRANCH
  • Must have passed  three year Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university with 60% marks or equivalent or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
EDUCATION BRANCH
  • Must have Passed 10+2 and Post-Graduation with 50% in any discipline including integrated courses offering PG (Single degree without permission to exit and lateral entry) and with 60% marks in Graduation in any discipline
  • For integrated courses (single degree without permission to exit and lateral entry), the minimum duration must be as per prevailing UGC guidelines with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.

So depending on your interest in the field you have to pursue a requisite course and score required minimum percentage of marks and apply for AFCAT. The age limit is  20 to 26 Years for Graduates and Post Graduates at the time of commencement of course and the Candidates below the age of 25 years must be Unmarried.

Subhrajit Mukherjee 6th Sep, 2021

Broadly NDA have two sub branches one is Indian Army and the other is Naval and Air Force.

Now the educational eligibility for INDIAN ARMY is stated below:

Passed 12th standard from State Education Board or a University

The education eligibility for Naval and Air Force visit the link below:

Passed 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics from State Education Board or a University

So you are eligible for Indian Army but not eligible for NAVAL and AIR FORCE.

Apart from this for NDA 2022 (I) you must be born between the range July 2, 2004, to July 1, 2007 and for NDA 2022 (2) you must be born between the range January 2, 2005, to January 1, 2008 in order to be eligible for the examination

Aashiketa 6th Oct, 2021

Hi, according to the information available online from your college. The cut off marks for merit list was 92% So, the chances of you getting into this college for LLB honors are quite high. Still, it is always recommended that you apply for other colleges as well so that you get options if you choose to change your plans. Hope this helps. All the best!

I got 96 bfs (excluding math) in my 12th, commerce stream and I want to get into a good college in du. What is my possibility of getting into one this year? Also, my bfs including math is 92 and Im looking for ba (Hons) economics.

Vanshika Nangia 30th Sep, 2021

Hello dear aspirant

Hope you’re doing well

B.A hons economic considers best four percentage including maths i guess, and Considering you are from general category as you have not mentioned otherwise,

92% is pretty less to get you a seat in DU in the first 2-3 cut off lists. Because the cut off of economic hons is usually very high.

Keep looking in all the cut offs. Also focus more on off campus colleges. Because off campus colleges have slightly less cut off.

You can also use the university of Delhi college predictor tool. I am attaching the link below
