i want to become interior designer but i have chosen commerce stream so in future can i take arts

Anushri Varshney 24th Jun, 2021

Hi,

To become an interior designer there is no need to be dependent on the stream you've opted in class 11th because a science student can also pursue interior designing and has a good scope in the future.

What you need to do is to prepare for the entrance exam and then wait for the selection. There are many colleges which provide this course. Also, there is B.Sc in Interior designing, you can also go for this course.

Many colleges which offer this course:

  • Pearl Academy, Delhi
  • AAFT Institute, Noida
  • IMS DIA, Greater Noida
  • Indian Institute of Art and Design, New Delhi
  • National Institute of Design, Ahemdabad

Eligibility: A student must have passed class 12 from a recognised board.

Hope you understand!

if a get 80%Marks in class 12 in commerce stream then I will get admission in du

Shja 3rd Aug, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

You must know that cut offs are expected to rise this year as well. Therefore, if you want admission in Bcom(H) course then it's going to be very difficult for you to grab a seat in a reputed college. Infact you might not get admission at all if you belong to general category. You may get admission if you belong to some reserved category. Don't loose hope. Stay positive.

Hope this Helps!

Good Luck

pdwords Student Expert 12th Jun, 2021

Hello,

First  of all the official notification of CUCET for this year isn't released yet, hence I'm answering your query from the perspective of last year information, amidst the undergraduate courses offered by various universities through CUCET till 2020 BCom wasn't listed in it, you can check out the same at https://university.careers360.com/articles/cucet-programmes, few months back there were reports of more universities participating through CUCET from this year onwards which you can read at https://news.careers360.com/cucet-for-admission-41-central-universities-likely-be-held-june-end-report but there is no official notification released regarding this, you can stay updated at http://www.cucetexam.in/ for more details regarding this.
