Skills required to become a commercial lawyer are: First, You have to be very good at reading documents which can be lengthy and give no chance of mistakes. You should be good at words. Second, Being empathetic, try to feel and form a connection. you should be able to engage well. Third, As commercial law is about applying legal knowledge to real-life business situations. Understanding why businesses act the way they do and what they are trying to achieve is as important as the legal knowledge you have gained. Fourth, You have to be good with people, in presentation and communication. Also you should be able to market yourself in order to convince the other party. Fifth, You should have financial knowledge, that is being able to run a business, understand tax, work with profits and margins and being able to help the client in the same manner.
