See there is no fixed number of questions that needs to be attempted or needs to be correct to achieve any value of percentile. It varies every year.

No, it is not compulsory to have maths in order to get into IIMs. 

 

You can check the CAT eligibility criteria below

- You should hold a Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50 percent marks or equivalent CGPA awarded by a recognised university. For reserved category you need 45% marks.

There is no minimum number as such. Practice is the key and you need to practice as much as you can. Do not stop practicing. I gave almost 40 mock tests before I sat for the actual exam. The more mocks you give the more familiar you will be with

If you didn't meet the required cutoff through CAT then you can apply for MAT entrance exam to get admission in Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management, Kolkata.
