Hi, Having no work experience is okay because it is not a mandatory requirement. if you have abive average past academic record then you can get expect a rating of 4-5 out of 10 (scaling criteria varies in all IIM's)

Yes it matters in case of IIM's and admissions through CAT.

In each IIM there in an individual selection process and therfore is most of the IIM's academic scores are a must thing and a strict aspect to judge.

I am assuming you are from general category. Based on your overall academic profile, you will need to score atleast 99.9 percentile to get a call for the next round.

With OBC category and decent past academic records you have chances to get in old IIM's but you will have to be good enough with the CAT percentile, and later selection rounds like GD/PI and WAT.

For old IIM's you will need percentile above 98 and for new IIM's target
