    If you have scored less marks in JEE then you can go for private colleges. You can get good private college in other states like: Haryana, UP, West Bengal, Punjab, Rajasthan, Maharashtra. Most of the states have reservation for other state students in private colleges based on JEE Main score/rank.

    Your cat score should be above 80 and seat in IIM not confirmed untill your gd and interview round goes well. There is no guarantee to get the seat totally depend on your caliber , knowledge and foundation.
