Percentile is a measure of how much you score with respect to the highest scorer irrespective of how much marks you scored. So, you can have a percentile of 50 it can be possible that you actually scored 0 marks out of 300. Also, people can have a positive percentile

@Yahmita: CAT is not an easy exam but it does not mean it is the toughest exam. If you are not able to score above one point try to focus on analysis part of mocks. Irt seems you are skipping the tough sections and not trying to face them and

@Annop: BITS Pilani evaluation depends on profile based analysis. The weight age is equally distributed among all criteria. The minimum percentile as such is around 75 percentile. How much percentile are you expecting?
